Writing workshops this summer We’ve had a couple of writing workshops recently that have been well attended. Here’s a chance to attend another one if you missed the previous ones, or return if you’d like to continue. We are offering a summer writing workshop series for novice and experienced writers. All are invited to create in a supportive community environment. The four workshops occur on Wednesdays: July 16, July 23, July 30, and August 6, from 10:30 a.m.- noon in the library. What to expect: • Timed writing prompts. • Opportunity to share your writing and listen deeply to others. • Opportunity to give and receive positive feedback on first draft work. • Bring your own writing tools. • Join one or all workshops; each workshop is unique. There is no cost, but please RSVP Facilitator: Mara Koven-Gelman is a recent Monterey resident, a writer, and trained writing facilitator. She is eager to write with anyone interested in sharing their unique voice.
