Bio: Galina Vromen spent more than a decade as an international correspondent, mostly for Reuters News Agency, in Europe, Mexico and Israel. After retiring, she harnessed her research and writing skills to release her debut historical novel, Hill of Secrets. Her research for the novel which explores the domestic life of those living in the shadow of Manhattan Project, sparked her interest in the aftermath of the use of the bomb and she has become well-versed on issues of nuclear arms today.
