Two pop-up writing workshops are being offered this Spring by facilitator Mara Koven-Gelman.

Both novice and experienced writers are invited to create in a supportive community

environment.

The two workshops will take place: Tuesday April 14 th and Tuesday May 19 th from 11:30 am-

1:00 pm in the Monterey Library Reading Room (452 Main Road.)

What to expect:

- Timed writing prompts.

- Opportunity to share your writing and listen deeply to others.

- Opportunity to give and receive positive feedback on first draft work.

- Bring your own writing tools.

- Join one or both workshops; each workshop is unique.

- The facilitator is donating her time. Please consider a donation to the Monterey Library.

Facilitator: Mara Koven-Gelman, a Monterey resident facilitated four workshops at the Library

last summer. She is a writer and trained writing facilitator and eager to write with anyone

interested in sharing their unique voice.
